The Controller oversees the Party’s financial matters, retains records of all monetary transactions, and is the liaison between the Professional Treasurer and the Ventura County Democratic Central Committee.

Before being elected VCDCC Controller in 2021, Liz Soto held a wide range of professional and community leadership roles.
Since 2009, Liz has served as Controller for the California Federation of Teachers.
Education:
MBA in Finance, California Lutheran University
Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, CSU Northridge
Liz resides in the City of Moorpark.
