Finding Your Representatives
Project Vote Smart is one of the best resources for finding more information on your Federal, State and Local representatives.
Telephoning Your Representatives
You can telephone your representative’s office to let them know how you feel about a particular issue. Here are some of the more common numbers for reaching members of the U. S. Congress, and the California State Legislature:
United States Congressional Switchboard
(202) 224-3121
California State Information
(213) 897-9900
Writing Your Representatives
Sending a traditional snail mail letter to your representative may still be the most effective means of communicating with them. However, many now accept e-mail. To obtain their USPS and/or e-mail address, look them up on the web at the following locations:
California State Senate directory
California State Assembly directory
