Democratic Party Members Protest Gallegly’s Jobless Benefits Vote

Members of the Ventura County Democratic Party protested near the Thousand Oaks office of Congressman Elton Gallegly Thursday.  They denounced his position against extending benefits for unemployed people.  Their position is that unemployment checks will stimulate the economy more than the tax cuts for the wealthy, which Gallegly supports.  Photo by David Yamamoto of the Ventura County Star.
