CLU Political Science Chair to Speak at the Democratic Club of Camarillo

The August 6th meeting of the Democratic Club of Camarillo will feature Gregory K. Freeland, Ph.D., Chair of the Dept. of Political Science and Director of the Center for Equality and Justice at California Lutheran University. Dr. Freeland will speak about his current work concerning Ventura County redistricting and citizen participation.
Socializing will begin at 6:15 p.m. with special guest, Tim Allison, Democratic candidate for the 24th Congressional District seat which is currently held by Republican Elton Gallegly.
The club meets in the Orchid Building, 816 Camarillo Springs Road, which is located at the Camarillo Springs Exit from the South 101. The meeting is free and open to the public. Call 805/482-8360 for additional information.
